Can you make sense of a sense-less death?
Saw her crying today,
Saw her crying today,
Saw her sad eyes searching for her dead daughter,
Saw her tears fall on her frail thin frame,
She could not make sense of death,
The cold hands of death had gripped her daughter,
Her beautiful daughter,
Her love,
Her joy,
She wanted to make sense,
But could not,
Can you return life back into her daughter
Can you make sense when a seventeen year old passes away,
Not because she was on drugs
Or because she was a bad girl,
But because a young lad of fourteen was trying to drive without a licence.
She died while crossing the road,
Her mothers wet eyes are still searching for her,
She is waiting to cross the road with her,
She can still feel the warmth of her daughters hands,
Her tears ask only one question, why her?
Can someone tell the little angel that she loved her and her heart is still in denial that she will never see her again ,
What are the right words to console her?
What are the right actions that will help her?
